The following is the contents received in an e-mail from Dr. Sharukh K. R. Pavri (lists at pavri dot net) on June 1, 2006. It details his steps to get the ConnectPlus 128 MB card working with OpenZaurus 3.5.4 with a Sharp Zaurus 5500. Thanks, Dr. Pavri!

Hi!
I went through the whole procedure (twice) and here is what is needed: (Only change is that this is installed on sd as a loop image). Could you put this up on your website ?
If you get an error about hostap-conf execute steps 5 & 6 below else go straight to step 7
insert the card and voila !!! wi-fi works :)
You will need these files:
hostap-modules-2.4.18-rmk7-pxa3-embedix_0.4.7-r4_collie.ipk
hostap-modules-cs-2.4.18-rmk7-pxa3-embedix_0.4.7-r4_collie.ipk
hostap-modules-pci-2.4.18-rmk7-pxa3-embedix_0.4.7-r4_collie.ipk
hostap-conf_1.0-r4_all.ipk
these are available from upgrades/machine/collie
you will also need
prism3-firmware_1.8.3-r2_arm.ipk
prism3-support_1.0.0-r0_arm.ipk
I got these from here:
http://oz.pdai.org/official/unstable/3.5.3/feed/base/prism3-firmware_1.8.3-r2_arm.ipk
http://oz.pdai.org/official/unstable/3.5.3/feed/base/prism3-support_1.0.0-r0_arm.ipk
anyway I'm glad I could help.
Now has anyone got the storage part of it working ? I tried fiddling with the options in /etc/pcmcia/hostap.conf but to no avail.
regards,
Sharukh
